Notes - AITKEN, Christopher Allison. Passed peacefully 23rd February 2011, at Puriri Court, Kamo, Whangarei, aged 96 years. Loved husband for 71 years of the late Jean. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Alex and Alison (Christchurch), Mervyn and Lesley (Owhango), and Marion and Barrie Green (Kamo). Cherished grandfather of nine, and great-grandfather of 17. Loving thoughts of years together, hold memories that will last forever. A service to celebrate Chris' life will be held at St John's Church (The Golden Church), 149 Kamo Road, Kensington, Whangarei, at 11:00am, Saturday 26th February 2011, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations directly to 'Project Promise', PO Box 1844, Whangarei 0140, would be appreciated. Thanks to Puriri Court for their loving care and support.
